I let it go for $8000. I could have possibly held out for more, but the couple that purchased it started off with a really nice email stating their need and didn't play the "but KBB says it's worth...." and since they were going to be driving 5 hours simply asked for my best price. It's what I gave them.
They drove up in a 1996 Taurus that looked like it came off the showroom floor despite the 260,000 plus miles they had put on it and the never ending mechanical issues they were having - so I feel confident the wagon has found a good home.
