That is a pretty car and one that has multiple hi-tech features in it. At an affordable price.
In a related manner, I went to the Chevy dealer to look at pickups and it dawned on me everything I looked at had pretty much the same price. Steep with exact same numbers in the price. It took me a while to realize the new GM marketing was to package things together rather than deal as options. And the price reflected all those options as a package.
many of them which were not what I wanted at any price and could not make them go away!
Toyota has learned well the marketing philosophies that GM taught them and then forgot.

The packaging crap has been going on heavy for the last ten years. Toyota goes about it a bit different. You don't have to buy a package to pick out single items you want. But you do have to upgrade to a higher model to get some of the things you want. You can get such and such if you buy a Corolla S but you can't buy that simple item if you want a Corolla L or LE ... same crap from all just a different way of getting you to spend more for simple items you may want.

Jeni gave me the green light to lower her car. It'll be the smallest amount I can find. One inch would be best for her. My ION has a 1.6 inch drop using Progress springs. She does not want to go as low. The ION also has a Progress rear sway bar, ION Redline front sway bar, and a strut brace. I'll not be adding or changing any of that on hers.

This is it without the new wheels. I just don't like those factory wheels.

The stock 16's look tiny! The new ones look much better, and you could have gone with 18's as you said the other night. But for the cost/weight etc I think you bought the right wheels.

Jeni wanted these wheels so that's what she got. Those do not come in 18's so there was no choice. I like the a few other wheels but none of them come in 18's that fit this car. The 17's do look a bit small but we'll live with it....lol
