As far as economy cars with decent hp, did you look at the Dodge Dart with the 1.4L Turbo?

The dealer I bought this from is a Dodge/KIA dealer. We drove the 2013 Dart before driving the 2014 Forte.
The seats in the Dart were so bad it was unreal
The 2.0 was just gutless kinda like the Focus
The 1.4 turbo needed all of it's 160 ponys to haul it's 3,250lbs. The turbo didn't help what's so ever. $1,300 more on top of being forced to buy the more costly Limited to get and autotrans with that turbo. Wife's last car was a Solstice manual she wanted something new.
Ride was rough and choppy on uneven roads.
So the 2013 Dart was $3,000 more with less equipment less hp. Much less hp to weight. It didn't look or feel like a good deal.

I gotcha, I've just read about them. Test driving from a stat-sheet and actually getting in the car are two different things. I've been meaning to go test drive one, but finding any car with a manual transmission these days is like searching for BigFoot, you hear about them but never see them.
I would have gone with the Kia either way. New cars and unproven platforms always make me a little nervous. Especially when throwing down the cash for brand-new.
My only other question is why not blue? (I have a thing for blue cars)

She has a thing for blue also..........she hates blue. They didn't have a blue EX nor did they have a white EX. I rather white cause I have to keep em clean. They had silver and that dead mud red they put on the sedans. This car was off their first and only truckload of 14's. Happens she got just what she wanted, and I'm stuck with looking at another silver car in my garage.

I'm a sucker for these wheels. Now that I have the specs on the wheels I've been looking more and more. I will keep looking maybe something else will catch my eye............
5X114.3mm--boltpattern
67.1mm--hub bore
50mm--offset
12X1.50mm--lug nuts

Part of my problem is. Discount tire does not have a listing for any 2014 cars on site yet. That also means I can't use the interactive wheel system to see what wheels would look like on Jeni's new car.

These are the ones that I want for the GTI, Audi RS3 rims.

I had the MB MESH X on the ION for awhile, now have the Drag DR34B's on the ION and don't see that ION as part of the euro scene. At any rate I like those wheels no matter the scene. Wife does not want anything flamboyant and I agree.........no high visibility orange wheels with lime green lips. Silver maybe or blue calipers yes.......
