Severe pain in leg, help?
#55
So, I made it back from the doctor. He examined both of my knees, noting some inflammation in my left, in the outer tendon... He believed that the key to fixing the pain might lie there...He prescribed me Diclofenac 50mg as a better anti inflammatory drug than ibuprofen, and said to take nothing else while on this drug. He also said that if the pain still persists by the end of my 2 week supply, to see an orthopedic doctor for further investigation/imaging...

Glad to hear you got somewhere with the investigation. I'm proud of you for going...now if only I would take my own advice and go to the doctor. Lmao
You're not the favorite just the easiest to access ;-)

the pain started out nearish your hip and went down your leg and he's worried about your knee? ??? Yes nerve pain radiates, but knee seems inconsistent with what you've previously described......did he examine your lower back at all?
Well, pop those pills (we know you will) and keep us posted. I thought you would need a referral for an orthopaedic doctor---I guess you'll have to chase him down for one should you need it.
What did he say about the foot numbness? I still suspect a neurological aspect to all of this....i guess your inflamed knee could be pressing on the main nerve that runs down to your foot
