Is this right? I burn gas.
Particle pollution... Hmmm
I Want to know how they quantitated the particles less than 23 nm..... After the sizing measurements of all the particles distributed all over the road in that one mile or kilometer. What's the size distribution?
Well, even before that, how did they collect all these particles off the pavement? Are they sure they got all the particles, because particles that small tend to blow away with infinitesimal wind velocity.
I agree wholeheartedly that EVs will chew up a tire something fierce per unit time, and that different tire compound formulations need to arise very quickly to deal with this, as do improvements in battery technology which reduce the weight of the cells.
Without creating more toxic waste, although some tires and batteries can be recycled. I believe lithium batteries are tough, however.
I'll believe it after I review the actual study and come to my own conclusions.
Statements like these in articles are either true or clickbait and usually the latter.
To answer your ultimate question, no, I don't think this is right. I do think that the truth lies somewhere between
