oh Ginny Ginny Ginny,
Please don't give up the ghost after one guess --let us struggle a bit -- let us google it and expand our musical databases. And who solved bonestock #1 ? I don't see a post guessing it..... |
Keep up, derf. I found bonestocks first one. I didn't post the answer, but told him I knew it and asked if he wanted me to tell everyone else. I'm growing weary of this already. I won't post anymore or guess anymore. Y'all want to know what my two are, just ask me. I'll either post the answers here or send you a PM. What ever you prefer.

oh cmon dude, it's all for fun. I was the one who said pls don't post if you google it to find it-- that's why I was surprised when I noticed it was labeled "solved".
You and Ginny (who keeps referring to age) probably know more lyrics to more songs than he rest of us combined. Personally I was looking forward to a classic rock marathon with you and tnvikesfan, amongst other less focused lyrical explorations with the rest of the gang, as I listen to a pretty wide range of musical stuff. Please don't bail. |

As he came into the window It was the sound of a crescendo He came into her apartment He left the bloodstains on the carpet She ran underneath the table He could see she was unable So she ran into the bedroom She was struck down, it was her doom IGNORED: Micheal Jackson -- Smooth Criminal (YouTube the Video of the cover by Alien Ant Farm -- it's much better than the original) |
Ooh, that sounds dark... I might have to google it...
In all reality, I counted Rube's post as the closest thing to solved as it was gonna get, and after a while, I plan on revealing the songs anyway... But he did so something quite cool without knowing it... IF you googled the song(and liked it), post another lyric from it to let the OP know that you did... It's a good way to let everyone know, without giving it away... "Bonestock-5" She grew up in a Indiana town, Had a good lookin' mama, who never was around And she grew up tall, and she grew up right, With them Indiana boys on them Indiana nights Moved down here, at the age of eighteen, She blew the boys away, was more than they seen |
Bonestock -- nice choices for 1 & 2 -- had to google 'em though. Like the band for #2.
_______ Bonestock 3 Reeks of early Metallica from some Metallica song on some Metallica album I do not have but probably want. Are partial guesses like this allowed? Then poster can give feedback and the rest can pound away at the song if the band was guessed correctly....? ________________ Bonestock #4 --sounds like lyrics from a song about a guy leaving to go to war or into the military; has a 50's sound to it..... |

All the times That I've cried All this wasted It's all inside And I feel All this pain Stuffed it down It's back again And I lie Here in bed All alone I can't mend But I feel Tomorrow will be OK But I'm on the outside And I'm looking in I can see through you See your true colors 'Cause inside you're ugly You're ugly like me I can see through you See to the real you IGNORED: OUTSIDE: Staind |
Bonestock #5. I was introduced, we both started grooving. She said I really like ya, baby, but I gotta keep moving. On. Keep moving on.
Tom Petty, Last Dance with Mary Jane. No, I didn't google it. I'm a big Tom Petty fan. |
DAmn Rube. Nice. I LOVE that tune. I was logged on before he posted and well thereafter but never refreshed my page before I posted mine....snoozers losers. Good job.
Legend has it that after canvassing all the record companies with their demo tape (on which they) had spent every last dime they had), the last one they gave it to signed the band. The rest is history. Follow your passion--you'll either end up rich or flat broke. |
Well, my passion is my wife and cars. No wonder I have no money, right?
