I've experienced your "dry heat" ... yuck. Helluva note when the stores have sprinklers going full blast on the awnings outside the store, and you never get wet walking through them ...

It was 95 here yesterday with a heat index of 109. The humidity and dew point are very high and I was in and out most of the day cutting laminate flooring. I ripped the carpet out of our bedroom and put in a new laminate floor. Two more bedrooms and the hallway to go, but they'll have to wait. My butt is dragging. I'm getting too old to do this kind of thing quickly anymore. Got a torn meniscus in my left knee and it's letting me know about it today.

Rube --

That's what all that money you've saved over the years is for -- you do the planning and engineering, and hire the youngsters to do the scut work

I wish that was the case, Mike, but my wife has multiple health issues that ate up all my savings years ago. I live check to check and let me tell you, disability income SUCKS. I've been trying to find just a part time job around here, but the nepotism is so rampant, that I don't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting on. Got applications in everywhere. I think it's an age discrimination thing going on too!
