Mine is.of the dipstick less variety, and a simple drain will not remove the atf in the torque converter, but a flush will disturb any crud serving a positive purpose. Trying to work on these in your home garage is fun since to fill it you need to have the car level with all four corners in the air. Or if you can fii ubder the tranny with the wheels on the ground, be my guest.

Full is measured by adding atf and letting the engine reach operating temp, and getting the level so that the fluid is just dribbling out of the check hole.

About as much fun as washing skunk off the bottom of the vehicle at 1 am while your neighbors are trying to sleep

 

Obviously NOT one of Fords BETTER IDEAS. LOL BUT, in all seriousness, the last two NEW Chrysler products that I owned didn't have transmission dipsticks either. One had the CVT transmission (08 Caliber) and they recommended a fluid change at 150,000 miles. The same thing on my 2013 Chrysler 200, but it had a six speed automatic and NOT the notoriously crappy CVT. I'm driving a Kia nowadays and love it. Great mileage and easy to maintain, Ride isn't as good as the 200, but I got what I could afford to pay for.
