This bragfest has been years in the making....release the hounds!
_____________
Goalie-- do I get to choose your 2 cylinders?
____________
Bones --without the miss you'll be out of sight ahead of me alright....
_________
Until I pass your IRL (Imitation Reconstituted LEMON) broken down by the side of the road because the boost solenoid can't do its job properly --or at all for that matter

Octavious,
Man, I wish goalie and bones had joined the forum sometime during the 17 years I lived in central Jersey. It could have become a project car. Now I'm out near Pittsburgh and I gave away my 95SC2 so I have no spare vehicle anyway.
How long do you think the swap would take (ballpark)?

You would need custom mounts and rig up an ion sub frame.
Also the wiring. In all actuality, it doesn't seem that bad, if you are a machinist.
If you are serious about the swap though, you would need a way beefier suspension, tranny to go with it, axels, and a bit wider of a wheel.
Basically a doner car would be the EASIEST way to do this. Besides the custom motor mounts you would need. I also heard something about the transmission needing slight adjustment.

Damnit Goalie,
Will you please help our Mandolin to play louder?
And adjust the action so it's easier to switch between strings when playing
And the tailpiece needs some work on the finish.
I feel no love due to the associative property of Mandolins.....
