Yup, thats the place. Its all down hill and a little bit curvy. Every now and then you can open your car up going down there, but its sometimes monitored by CHP and sky patrol. Back in the 90's my uncle got busted for doing 127mph by a helicopter and there was a police check point a few miles up the road that issued him his ticket hahaha.

Ah! Reminiscing! I lived and grew up in an area just the opposite. A large long hill that lead one out of town. Cross the rail road tracks and nail it and how fast could you get passing through the caution light at the top of the hill. I had built a slant - 6 Plymouth that was fast. Could it be beat? Yes it was only 239 cu in pulling a 2drht. But it was fast. I was at a gas station when some one asked me where #1 cylinder was on my car. When I pointed out it was in front, I was referred to as a smart ***, I also pointed out it was an I-6. Some one looked aghast and referred to following me out of town and my running away from him. A supposed hot package. He was embarrassed and sold the thing by the end of the week. The car I found out later was legendary in town and I owned it for 15 years. I guess I have been a closet I-6 fan most of my life. I built a fuel injected one an AMC in a car I still own and I am building another only with a 4bbl for a street roadster.
As soon as I get a space molded into the fire wall on my Hornet I am building to make room for the Distributor I'll be able to install it and start my Corvette motor a converted mercury marine engine. I am almost finished modifying the floor to clear the 700r4 transmission I am installing.

When I was young I tried to hit 120 on my 65 Ford. I am not sure I hit it or not. It was dark on an interstate highway. I thought nobody was on the road. All of a sudden a car's lights went on right next to me. A state cop caught me without his lights on and almost scared me to death.

Myself and three friends following me across Montana had our cruse set at 160.
Got pulled over by highway patrol who looked at our cars and told us to slow down. no tickets,

Man lucky you hahaha. If you did that in someplace like california you would probably for sure get a ticket. Doesnt Montana have the "resonable and prudent" speed law though?
