Have to wonder why GM it's trying harder to get Saturn owners over to Chevy, Buick sites via that site
============================
From where I sit that seems to be a common thread when accountants have taken over the operations of automobile companies.
In the middle 50's, GM alone was responcible for a full 5% of the GNP of this country.
And if you wanted something with more options and better features than a Chevy you bought a Pontiac.
What you drove presented an Image.
Today it seems if you want to have a car with the features of a Caddilac you option out a Chevy.
If you want something that presents an image, you purchase a Toyota.
And GM is not even a pimple on the butt of the GNP
I owned an Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra international version with the W3 suspension package and when I parked it in Valet parking it was commonly referred to as the purple car next to the Toyota.
So much for presentation.
When I was looking to trade, a dealer asked me why I wanted to trade my Pontiac for a Camero.
He never did fully understand my answer as I got back into my car and drove off to find another dealer.
The ANSWER?
Thats why! And I left.
