Default Saturn for our 16 yr old

Hey all,
I decided to join your fine forum in hopes of fixing up a 97 sl2 for my 16 year old stepson to drive.Let me introduce myself as a Husband to a very understanding Wife, gearhead, father of four,a concrete construction worker, and I guess,a'jack of all trades master of none' type of guy.
I have always been a huge Chevrolet fan so the Saturn wasnt too far off a choice for the oldest boy to learn to drive in.We picked up a 97 sl sedan 1.9l sohc for fairly cheap this week from a little car lot here in OH.The car looks decent from the outside but its the insides that need some attention,so thats why I'm here I plan on replacing a wheel bearing, the head liner, and try to find out why it idles so rough at a standstill in gear.
Anyway enough rambling,I look forward to learning alot from you guys and hope to help out if I can,Thanks.
