Ah, good point about independently verifying the P gauge on my tester.... I will do that. I did have all plugs pulled, did not have the throttle wide open; cold engine. Now that it is running, I can check it warm. I never saw a difference with throttle open or not on the older carbuerated engines that I'm more used to working on, so I got out of that habit of flooring the gas pedal. I wonder if the throttle body would make that much difference? I'll first verify my P gauge.
