I own a 1994 S1, which we bought for my wife, when it was new, right out of the showroom.
We've owned this car for about 26 years and is, by far, the most efficient we've ever owned.
Right now it needs some TLC and would appreciate learning which is the best forum for repairs etc.
Glad to be here and look forward to your assistance.

Welcome, Derf is the resident S car expert he will stop by and should have some input on your trunk springs. He has coupes and they might be similar. My L series has coil springs holding up the trunk lid.

Welcome to the forum. I've owned a couple of the S series coupes also and really liked them. The crappy TAAT4 transmissions were the reason I sold both. And then derf started learning a LOT about the S series cars. I kind of wish I still had the SC1.
I'll help if I can, but didn't own either one that long.

As for which form is the best:
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you like random responses from an audience of 15,000 members, many of which don't know much, coupled with the possibility that your post may get totally ignored because that's just what happens there sometimes, go with Saturn fans.com no space.
If you like a forum with six or seven active members where there is a reasonably experienced person for S, L, and Ion models, you are here. We don't know everything and don't pretend to. We put our heads together and try to help. Plus we respond in a timely fashion or at least like to think we do
