Just bought a 98 sl2 and none of the dash lights radio or cigarette lighter work.

 

Just wanted to give this a bump because there was no answer.

My guess is that there is some sort of connection issue to the electrical of the cabin. It starts, right? Do other cabin amenities work?

My knowledge of the car's wiring is extremely limited (virtually nonexistent), so I am sorry I can't be more helpful. Hopefully, someone knows a bit more.
