Cool Another New Kid On The Saturn Block

So hello everybody! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Alvin Howell, Owner of a Standard 1999 Saturn SL1. I am gonna admit that currently i dont really know much about my Saturn SL1. Hence the reason why i am joining this here forum. Knowledge is power. Anything and everything that i can learn i will. When i do get the luxury of free time, I like to go to my local scrap yard and see what i can learn from the cars there. My theory is that you can never truly learn how to do something until you do it for yourself. Hands on experience really sticks, Unlike most classroom lessons. well thats me i guess. I will be posting another Thread here in not to long. I have a couple questions that i am hoping someone out there will be able to answer.

Welcome to the forum. You learn the same way I do. Experience is always the best teacher!

welcome fellow gen 3 SL1 owner. I too have SL1, 2001 vintage and I've done more to this car than I care to admit over the last couple of years. But we like the car and so I do what I can to keep the thing running and running efficiently. We currently have 206k miles on our SL1 and I'm in the process of a complete engine rebuild. So if you have any questions, let me know and I'll try to answer them if I can (and if I can't, I'll tell you so).

Dave, I like your picture.

You will be sorry you moved to this block. It's a bad neighborhood. Just joking, don't panic. Welcome to the site. Misery loves company.
