Post 1997 sl1 Upgrades

I'm new to this forum and to start out this is my very first car and I love it. I have put about 5,000 miles on it so far and did some upgrades.

So far I have replaced the headliner, all 4 speakers with ones from a 2000 sl1, and the radiator.

The first upgrade i did was a new dual air horn. The train like sound has made people more aware. I have also added a pioneer stereo, which has made the audio quality much much better, but i still have the old one just in case. I have also painted the brake calipers red, and the drums black.

My final upgrade was an old CB/PA radio. I have hook up a speaker within my bumper, that way i can talk to people from inside my car. I am still working on hooking the antenna up and making the interior lights more widespread and along the outside edge instead of the middle dome light.

Tell me what you think, Thanks.

I will add photos later.

Welcome to the Forum. Be sure to have someone who understands HAM/CB radio to check your antenna setup. Hate to have you burn out your radio ...
