OK - So recently (thanks to RJ still having one) I purchased a big bore throttle body, And in efforts to not misplace it I strapped it onto the car with the stock air-box.

Now I was looking at the AEM intakes since they're the only ones I can find, and SPS's webpage is down. The question I have is on some sites it says for manual trans only, but on others it says it will work with an auto trans. Is there actually a difference? I dont want to buy one and then have to cut it up to fit (i would just get the do it yourself one from air raid then.)

Oh - and this one is incredibly stupid. They dont have the short ram listed for the SL2, but they do for the SC's and it says for all transmissions, Im pretty sure the engine and all that stuff is the same, but does anyone know if Ill have clearance issues with things?

 

Good luck with your add-on. I've seen some really nice conversions, and I've seen some tremendous hack jobs ... take your time, do your research, and when its time for the final installation, measure two or three times before you cut anything ......
