wipers no go

Default wipers no go

1996 sl2
so i try to turn on the wipers this morn and unknowing to me they were froze to the window. so i dump water on the window to thaw. i then try to turn wiper on and now i got nothing. tried to turn off and back on like manual says, still notta. i can hear the wiper motor running but that is about it.
any ideas?
your help appreciated.

If the wiper motor runs, but the blades don't move, I'd suspect a gear broken/jammed in the wiper motor assembly.

Remove the actuator arm from the wiper blade arms, and trigger the motor. That should tell you whether it is the blade arms frozen in place, or the motor. Good luck

if u hear it moving, the threads which the wiper arms use to grip the motor is most likely the problem, i had the same problem, unscrew the arms, pull them off, take some teflon tape and put a layer on the metal that was holding the arm, and replace the arm, it should work. (if the thread was not damaged at all, than change the whole assembly.), its pretty easy, takes 30 mins if you know what your doing =)
