I have a '94 SC2 with about 102,000 miles. At times this summer, when i turn the car on, the wipers start going, even though the control is in the 'off' position. nothing i do can make them stop of change speed, except wait for a couple minutes after which they turn off. around the time this started, my seat belt motor also started acting erratically - it's not broken because sometimes it works fine... other times it just doesn't move. electrical problem? blown fuse?

I have a '97 SC2 that does the same thing. I think it may be some kind of short in the motor or switch because it seems to happen after it rains or when it is humid. I checked it out on another forum and people say to replace the wiper motor. I haven't done this yet because it only happens once and a while. Best of luck and let me know if you figure it out!
