hey everyone, I own a 1995 saturn sc2, and recently I decided to remove the stock intake and install a short ram intake. When i removed the stock intake and everything, i noticed that attached to the stock air filter box was this cable with a connector, im assuming this is a sensor of some type. Obviously it was removed so the rest of the stock intake could be removed, however once i went and installed the new short ram intake, i realized that their was no place for me to plug this cable into with the new intake. If anybody can help me on where i can install it to, what its called, and maybe how i can install it with a short ram intake in it, i would appreciate it so much, thanks for your help!Edited by: sw2cam

from whut ive searched, leaving the stock air box is the way to go. the sensor is the mass air flow sensor. you need this of course.

It's a 1995 SL2 with a 1.9L engine, it didn't come with a mass air flow sensor. Edited by: sw2cam

Its the IAT, Inlet Air Temperatur sensor. Drill a hole towards the end of the intake pipe near the filter. Install a rubber grommer and press the sensor into place. Any quality aftermarket intake would of come with the provision.
