valve body

I have a 94 twin cam that needs a valve body put in the auto trans. .I have a new /used valve body can someone please tell me step by step how to change it ? thank you for any help....

pull the battery box,then take wires off top of trans, remove cover off trans. now this is the fun part. remove all the bolts around the outside and all the screws in the indented area. clean gasket surface. when putting the new one in there is a rod that you have to put into the hole of a plastic tube. make sure the notch is facing up so then it is going the right way and then put it back together. warning: sometimes it takes a few miles for it to start working properly

Is there any kind of manual that shows how to do this step by step ? or anyone that has posted pics of this that you know of ? thanks for your help

Haynes Manual. Can pick one up at any auto store for around $15.00 to $20.00. Sometimes they're a little hard reading but should get you through the replacement.
