Hello was just wondering if i need to replace my valve body in my auto tranny.what years are interchangable,i know the tranny itself isnt becauseof the mounts but how about the valve body itself


i have a 91sc1 1.9 DOHC automatic transmission and have access to a 94 with blown motor


the tranny was shot when purchased the car put another one in out of a 91 sc1 DOHC was working good when pulled from car,


have to try something this thing has a mind of its own..shifts hard in reverse and drive(sometimes) doesnt shift (sometimes) when put in drive it wont shift unless i put it in 3rd,then shifts ok but not great,took the wires from the top of the tranny there was some tranny fluid in there and some other crud..cleaned it out and it seemed to be alittle better but not alot,noticed the wires on the connecter had been taped on 2 wires,,can i get another connecter and cut those and put the other one on there?no codes to speak of.any other suggestions would be GREATLY apreciated Edited by: leftys4js

My guess would be youve had problems that needed addressed or you wouldnt be here.so if you dont want,or dont have any helpfull comments just leave them to yourself.
