I need help. I have a 1995 saturn sl-2 automatic tranny with 118,000. When I first start the car it runs strong no problems. after about 2 to 3 miles it starts to stumble and hesitate. If i give more throttle than needed it seems to pick back up but once it shifts back into drive the stumble and running roughly is back. I have changed the ects and wire connection with new dealer parts. I have taken the throttle body off and thoroughly cleaned. I have taken the egr valve off and cleaned it also. I have put new plugs in. I have not changed the plug wires or coils. If i hold the throttle at at a steady rpm it will run roughly then smooth out for a split second and then start missing and so on. The check engine light is not on and no codes are stored or pending. Any suggestions would be helpful.< ="text/"> uacct = "UA-939292-47";

Are you getting good spark from the coil packs? Hows the fuel pressure?

 

Fuel pump. Definitely check the fuel pressure.
