Thanks! One plastic fitting did come out still attached to the hose; the other one did not. Is is ok to pull the one remaining one out. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow because the parts store couldn't identify the particular part I needed.

 

Yes, the plastic clips snap over the rib on the steel line then the whole thing locks into the fitting.
