Saturn Auru Transmission issue
I have a 2008 Saturn Aura XR. This just started happening. After driving for about 30 minutes, my car won't go faster then 60 miles an hour. RPM are at 4000. Then it has a hard times shifting gears if I slow down and then speed up. If I shut the car off and turn it right back on, it runs good for about 30 minutes again. In the first 30 minutes, it shifts gear normal. It has 230,000 miles on it.

Sounds like transmission problems to me. Should be a 6T70, pre 2009 models had 3–5-r wave plate failures. Sounds like you are loosing 5th gear and the trans can’t get past 4th gear after 30 minutes.
