wow i realized the reason my exhaust sounds good is theres a hole on the upper side...which sucks...i can place hand over muffler tip and it goes out the top...i sure hope there are no holes in the trunk floor somewhere

My name is Curtis

Well Curtis, if you are being referred to as a Dork regularly than you to might be well qualified to be represented here. It is however considered bad form to refer to each other that way with out smiling at least.
As to the performance sounding exhaust system.
In your dreams. I have yet to hear a leaky exhaust system sound anything other than Leaky.
But then again, that is my opinion.
I’t take some of your performance budget and have a new one bent up and installed using a high flow catalytic muffler and a brand name turbo muffler of some form or another installed. That should be about the high side of $350.00 or so.
Then I would call up Iskenderian and see if they would grind a cam shaft for that engine. I don’t see on listed in their catalog but as I have run nothing but Iskenderian Cams on any engine I built that would be the first place I call.
They probably know as much or more than about any manufacturer on cam shaft applications and expectations. whether they would make one or not, I dunno, but thems is the boys I’d ask first.
And whether the SC1 engine management is the best in the world or not is besides the point. There is enough built in flexibility in the control circuitry to manage the change in engine performance a cam shaft would require with out screwing up the drivability.
I think Saturn uses a Speed Density System and there is some tolerance in that design. Then I’d go from there. I like the idea of 17’s, a paint job with some Bling and nothing to be ashamed of!
A cam shaft would take a chunk out of a $200.00 bill, there are enough wheels around with the Saturn Bolt Pattern to get nice ones that look good and the Paint? Well that could be pricey. I do my own for about $500.00 in materials and get a $6000.00 paint job out of it when I don't screw things up. Becareful of the 15 degree rule using Base Coat Clear Coat. That one bites. and about $750 at an upholstry shop should finish things off well.
But that would be my opinion.
