Looking at buying a 2003 L300 with 120k on it for my new 16 year old driver. I know nothing about saturns, if upkeep was good can I expect many miles on this motor?
they don't make Saturn anymore can I still get parts?

Check RockAuto.com
Their breadth of offerings is pretty indicative of what NEW or REMAN parts you can buy with some sort of guarantee on them,
Stay away from Autozone, Advanced, O'reilly's..etc. Especially the electronics/sensors. And no name alternators that are rebuilt by 3 toed sloths.
NAPA electronics seem to hold up if you cannot find what you seek at the price you seek it. But the markup over RockAuto.com is significant. RockAuto's shipping costs are high so it pays to wait and buy a bunch of stuff at one time if you can.
Surprisingly, Amazon has started having listings for all kinds of car parts, including Saturn parts, where they are undercutting RockAuto. However, you must have Amazon prime for free shipping to make it worthwhile
