daughter drives a 2000 L series with a 2.2 great car forher but recently it has had trouble intermintantly not starting. Has nothing to do with being warm or cold, but if you wait for 5-10 min it will start. I know for sure it is not the fuel pump. It happened to me for the 1st time yesterday and I checked to make sure it was getting fuel. I was then going to check spark and it started. I hate problems that come and go. Just looking for some help. I thinking maybe the coil pack or or the electronic engine control device bolted to the pack.

i would start by doing what you said in checking for spark. It could be something as simple as bad spark plugs
