Instrument Cluster

Instrument Cluster
Does anyone know what year instrument clusters will work for my 94 SC2? I mean besides the obvious 94 model that I'm sure some of you wise guys were going to suggest. I'm sure up to 94 will work, but how about a 95 or 96?

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the input, Mike. You need anything? I think I'll run to Pull-A-Part tomorrow morning. I'd do it today, but just have too many things to catch up on around the house today.

Well, the trip was almost a total waste of time. I grabbed another instrument cluster and the frigging odometer doesn't work on it either. I have 30 days to take it back and swap it for another one, if they get another car in during that time frame. I was frustrated that the A-pillar trim was not available for any 2-door before a 95. So, I grabbed them out of a 95 and they actually had all but one clip. Yippee! I took my Dremel and trimmed a notch out of them for my passive restraint seat belts and even though they don't match the color, they're better than plastic hanging loose. I'll still watch and see from time to time if they get a 91-94 model in so I can go and check it out, but for now, will just do with what I fabricated. I've gotten very good at removing the instrument clusters now. LOL Only SW I saw was a black 99 model, Mike. I'll keep an eye out everytime I go and if I run across a blue 93, I'll grab it for you. Electric windows or manual?

Ruby, you may not want to go the next step, but SEM products make an interior plastic dye that I have used quite successfully to color match things.
And automotive paint store can match it to the interior color code # obtained off of a paint chart and package it in rattle cans. A thorough cleaning and the SEM primer paint used and I have had interior work done that is going on 15 yrs old with no problem.

I appreciate it, Unc. But, if my son is going to be delivering pizza in this car, then I'm not going to worry too much about the interior trim parts being the same color. I'll let him worry about further expenses on it. I guess I'll order the odometer gear I need for it and then I'll be done spending my money on the car. He will have to step up and dig into his bank account from now on. Our agreement is that if I get it, he'll pay for the maintenance and insurance. October is rapidly approaching! If he doesn't find a job by then, the car reverts to me and he will be having to walk if he wants to go somewhere.
