Depending on what you're having tinted, anywhere from $150 to $300 is pretty fair. Most of the time you're going to get what you pay for.

Not the Middle Tennessee area but I have been paying $160.00ish for a good tint job. I can say thought they are worth every dime paid for though. My 94 is actually my ladies car and she is no longer able to drive it.. But while she could it could not be tinted due to her problem with her eyes. Thus I just finished having the seats re-upholstered due to the sun damaging the cloth on the seats. It was done in two stages, as I had to save the money for it. Between the two stages I am into it about $1000.00. Due to the age, 1994 and the limited popularity OEM material is hard to find that = expensive. And some was found in NYC. And then the quality of the job was not cheap either. I have no regrets on having it done. The car is worth keeping as nice as I can.
But if the Windows had been tinted when it was purchased, the material on the seats would have never rotted out.
The end result? It smells like a new car when I get into it. With the Hankook tires it drives like a new car. And when I get the time to repaint it again it will look like a new car. It did after the last paint job until I discovered the mistake I made which caused the clear coat to come off. Now all I need to find is the gasket for the sun roof. If I am going to paint it again, that gasket needs to be replace.
