Getting Peeved

Getting Peeved
Okay Guys, I'm starting to get peeved with this hinky transmission. I drove the car this morning and it acted really strange. At first, it upshifted pretty good but I noticed a slippage between 3rd and 4th. Got to a road I needed to make a right turn onto and it downshifted and then started bucking like a damned horse with a burr under the saddle. I let off the gas, pulled the automatic shifter down to 3rd and accelerated. The bucking stopped but the SES light was on. Got to my destination about a mile down the road from there and ran the codes. This thing has codes now that I've never seen before. I don't have a frigging clue what the heck they're related to. I have codes that aren't even listed in the Haynes manual I have. I'll list them in the order I got them and if anyone knows what the hell they are, please enlighten me.
26----Quad driver output fault What is the quad driver?
11----Transmission code present. Okay, I get that
22---- Two possibilities.. TPS or no second gear What?
25----Two possibilities IAC circuit or no torque converter clutch
72----Not in the manual
74----Not in the manual
81----ABS code. It doesn't have ABS
96----Not in the manual
97----Not in the manual
I'm wondering if the damned ECTS could be causing all of these codes? It only kicks on the SES when I first drive it for the day. After parking it and running codes, I can go in a building and be inside for an hour and come out and start the car and the SES is gone and it runs and shifts like a champ. I have ordered a rebuilt valve body for it simply because it is driving me bats$%t crazy and I want to hope that fixes the bad shifts on the transmission. After ordering that and then doing some reading, I'm not so sure it was money wisely spent. I'm starting to think it's all related to the ECTS. What do you guys think? And before you question the authenticity of the codes 96 and 97, yes, I'm sure. I even ran the codes twice before believing what I was seeing.

I sure hope you're right, sw2cam. I could have gone to pull a part and gotten one off a wreck there for fifty bucks. NO warranty. I figure I spend $110 and get a one year warranty, that's a better deal. Should have it and install it one day next week.

Just waiting for it to arrive so I can install it, guys. I'm still driving the car as it gets 30 mpg and my tired old Grand Caravan is getting 21. I live on a fixed income, so the mileage difference is well worth the investment in my opinion. I just hope the VB cures this and it's not an internal problem with the trans. If so, then I'll probably be selling the damn thing. I have neither the tools to do it myself nor the money to pay to have someone rebuild it.
