Hi Folks,

I have a 99 sc2. I need help trouble shooting this problem. When I start the car and I step on the gas peddle it stalls. after it runs for a few minutes it is fine to go. It does this when the engine is cold or hot. If I keep the revs way up it will keep going.

TIA

Is your service engine soon light on. (SES) If it is you can take the car to Auto Zone and they will read the error codes off the PCM or computer moduole. A defected coolant temperature sensor can produce those kinds of symptoms you described, but so can other things. Good luck
