My car recently stopped working this week and trying to figure what the problem is before taking it to the mechanics. The battery works and my friend just replaced the starter and alternator, thinking one of those were theproblem. But it is still not starting. Does anyone have any idea what else it could possible be? If so, your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Kay

Clarification, please ...

When you say ''not starting'', do you mean the engine will not crank, or that it will not run ??

Recheck the electrical connections. Most notably the positive battery cable.

Also check your fuses. Its possible during the alternator or starter replacement a fuse may of been blown.Edited by: Low Saturn
