96 sc2 starting problems
As the title says, I have a 96 sc2, with manual transmission. I have a couple problems....
1. After my car gets warmed up and driven for about a half hour or so, if I shut it off and try to restart it, it doesn't work. All I get is a click, only one, and that's it. If I let it sit for a while, its starts up with no problem at all
2. If I tap the gas while idling, rpm's drop down 500 or less. It's actually died on me a couple times when I do that. No problems with it if I push the accelerator down an inch or so, rpm's go up as they should. I've had this problem for a while and it doesn't affect anything else.
3. If I try to flip headlights down, they do go down but the passenger light motor makes a loud buzzing (it keeps spinning) for around 5 seconds. Is there anything I could do besides replacing the whole motor.
4. Interior of car vibrates A LOT!! I'm pretty sure that would be the engine mount needs replacement, but Idk..
5. A/C doesn't work. It blows out air and seems like it wants to get cold, but it just can't do it. I have full frion levels with no leaks whatsoever so do I need to get a new compressor or what???
Note: I do know some about cars so don't be afraid to use technical terms, I just don't know how to fix it all which is problem lol
Any suggestions are appreciated thanks

1) Replace the ECTS and its associated connector - about $40usd cost
3) Sounds like an adjustment is in order here ....
4) Ayup - top motor mount on passanger's side for sure ... possibly lower mounts as well.
5) Rent some gages and get readings on the high and low side of the compressor, and post them here.....

1) Don't know if you got an after-market ECTS, or a GM part. Should have a metal tip, not a resin-tip. Measure the resistance of the ECTS . should be between 250 ohms and 5,000 ohms - if not, it's bad
3) adjustment on the headlight actuator
