Update

Thanks for the link! It looks like mileage is stored in the bcm. I just cant see the mileage until I put my old gauge cluster back in. I might try using an obd2 bluetooth device to see my mileage on my phone.

Good question, is there a way I can check? I can look with my obd2 scanner, but other than that Im out of ideas.

I think you would need to know the PID where it started

On my car the VIN is stored in the BCM and the Airbag module, it doesn’t store it in the PCM. Just security to link them together.
