Moved to Tech section. No techie posts in New Member section, please.

New ones are , kinda, likely long since extinct, being that manufacturing ceased in 2002. Hell, inquire through a GM dealer.

A rebuild is only as good as
1) the quality of the parts used includes block
2) the knowledge of the rebuilder
3) the application of said knowledge to the rebuild process.

Rebuilding to barely meet factory specs is different than being in the green on specs.
Pristine cranks can be marred by poor installation technique.
Blah Blah Blah

No two rebuilds are of the same quality.

I recommend some heavy internet research on your part to determine the reputations of rebuilders regarding SATURN S series engines.

that link doesn't point to anything remotely Jasper. Scamlink. USED engines
Don't know the rebuild quality of the Jasper Saturns.

Oh wait--Jasper doesn't do S series these days
Now that's a bummer

I have an 05 ecotec. $300 and its yours. Will include the wiring harness. extra 100 gets you the subframe you need for the swap as well.

That's an excellent deal, Billy. I wonder if he's close to where you are or if shipping would be an issue?

If "Big A" would create a signature like everyone else, nobody'd have to ask.

Shipping would be 260-300 due to freight cost...just for the motor. Subframe would probably be another 100-150.
