Whenever I start my engine while it is hot, a friction like noise comes out for about 4-5 secs. Strangely it appears only when its hot. In the mornings there is no noise. I have been hearing this sound for months, and nothing bad happened. I can't figure out what might be the problem.

 

Could very well be the starter hanging up, but I can't tell because I can't hear it at my desk so I can't figure out what might be the problem.
