I just bought a 1996 saturn sl with a 5 speed. The problem is when i let off the gas, the rpms stay up at the area where i let my foot off the pedal. For ex. i go to shift and i shift at 3000 rpm, the rpms stay at 3000 for a little while. What can cause this. Sorry if its been talked about before, i'm new here.

i have the same problem with mine and i already cleaned mine sand it still does it so i when it gets nicer out where i am going to rip into it a little more and if i get mine fixed i will let you know whit i did
