I have 2 vues one being AWD with body damage and the other being 2WD with major tranny trouble. I would like to make one complete smooth running vue. What would be the best options for me here? Both vues are the same other than 2wd and awd and the body color. I have searched high and low and am not finding much for answers on swapping anything out.

 

If they're both the same year and have the same engine, I don't see why a simple engine swap would be that difficult. Just check the wiring harnesses and plugs and make sure they're identical on both engines. I don't know if there's anything special about the awd transmission or not. I'm not a mechanic by trade.

 

Just how much body damage are we talking about here?
