For the last month or so the fuel pump wire harness in my trunk has been shorting out randomly and the car wouldn't start. To correct these issues I cut the wires going into the harness and just spliced them together. This past weekend I spliced the last of the 3 wires together after it wouldn't start. It started fine but is now throwing a P0446 code and revving at about 3k when started.
I am wondering if this could be related to the fuel pump wiring issue described above. Thank you for any suggestions.
