Default Time for a change

I managed to toast my motor in my 2000 SC2. Knocks like a sob and I would like to do a upgrade. I use this car for street racing only and am interested in swapping the motor for a Saturn 2.0 supercharged or a GM 2.4 turbo. I can acquire both motors relatively cheap, but am interested in if anyone has done this kind of swap and would have any pointers to offer. All opinions are welcome and greatly appriciated.

figuring you mean the redline/ecotech motors only thing I've heard about them is its yet to be done so if you want to try it you're pretty much on your own

Thanks for the heads up. You are right I am refering to the ecotech motor and knowing that it might not have been done yet makes me really want to give it a go. Thanks again.

your welcome. several people have shown interest in this conversion but it sounds like theres going to be alot of custom work to make it work right. would be interisting to see it done and if you do do it a writeup would be worth it
