Hi, I,am new so please bear with me. I have a 2002 saturn 4 door, the engine is a 1.9 SOHC. however the engine is blown. I have a 95 1.9 engine that is good, however it is a DOHC engine. Can I replace the DOHC head with the SOHC head and then put it back in the 2002, I,am aware I will have to use the 2002 timing chain and access. In other words will the two heads work on either block. THANKS[img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]

 

Surely some of you Saturn guys can tell me if I can use a SOHC head on a DOHC engine,does anyone know?? THANKS

 

The SOHC valves will hit the DOHC pistons.
