ok so my dad picked me up some saturn rims from the junkyard. They aren''t on bad condition but need some elbow grease. They have a clear coat on them, says my dad. The clear coat is chipped off in some spots. I would like to know how to put a new clear coat on it and what kind to use. I''m also going to paint some of the rim. I just need some ideas on the clear coat and some products for it. Thanx.

Well I wish I could send you in the right direction on a do it yourself. Maybe search the net. There is a good chance your SATURN dealer has a vender that does wheel repair and painting for them. I''d go ask and see if you could get a phone number. The Used car manager or Recon manager would be the guys to talk to.
