I recently purchased a 2005 Saturn Vue that came with the basic single DIN am/fm CD player. I’d like to swap in the Saturn double DIN CD/ MP3 stereo. Has anyone done this, how plug-n-play is the install? I understand I would have to get it coded to the car I have so it would work; with no Saturn dealers, what GM brand dealer could do this? I do not want an aftermarket head unit, and if it’s too complicated I would just stay with what I have.

 

Please be specific as to which unit you want to swap in (please post a picture). And what year and vehicle it was used in.

 

I have moved Saturn factory stereos of different levels from car to car with no programming needed.
