i have a 96 sl2 and i just installed a kenwood kdc-x791 stereo and now i have no sound out of my speakers...... i went back through and trace my wires on the wiring harness and they are all connected right. the stereo come on and reads cd and everything but still no sound. we turned off the demo mode like the manual said and and reset the security code. if anyone has any input on the subject or the same radio with some info i would appreciate it very much.Edited by: sw2cam

Explain your installation. Is it a cut and splice job? Did you use a wiring harness adaptor? You might want to connect a spare speaker directly to the speaker wires.

Sounds like a problem with your new headunit.
