I have a 2006 Vue with the 3.5 l v-6. I am looking at cheaper brands of struts for my SUV ( i.e., FSC, OSC, Unity, Sensen). Does anyone have any personal experience with these brands? Also, has anyone use mono-tube shocks over the twin- tube shocks? If so, what was your experience? Was the handling any better? How was the ride quality? Thank you.

 

Don't get the FCS from rockauto They're mad in China. You'll get what you pay for. I bought a set of those for my 99 Grand Caravan and after installing them, I discovered one was defective. I had to return it and get another one, TWICE!
