Default Service Engine light

Good afternoon, all!

Our 2005 Saturn Vue is showing the Service Engine light (icon lit steady) but there are no codes showing up. Would this indicate a problem with the wiring, or possibly just resetting by disconnecting the battery for a few seconds?

Thanks in advance!

Gregg

Who checked for codes?

Disconnecting the battery will likely lock out your stereo system (so don't go there).

What kind of code reader did you use?
