This is one of my last things on my 'do list' in getting my saturn vue in tip top shape. I have read the directions in the owner's manual repeatedly and followed them precisely without success. I have one of the remotes that came with the garage door opener attached to the driver's sun shade for now, but it's annoying that I can't get it to open with the car's remotes. Any help would be appreciated. I will call homelink.com tomorrow when they are open to get help.

Have you tried resetting all of your remotes and the car at the same time? After all, it's just another opener if you think about it. Maybe it just needs to be treated like one. Of course maybe that's what the directions tell you to do. I don't know. Never had the luxury of having a built-in opener in a car.

 

I finally called the 800 number on the owner's manual for programming the garage door remote. They walked me through it and discovered that my car's 3 to the right remote button was the only button of the 3 that would program. After it worked, I remember 2.5 years ago when I got my other car and tried to program it to open the garage door, only the same 3rd to the right button would program. Even after I deleted all prior programmed buttons. Anyway, it works. I can't stand having things that are suppose to work but don't. I just wanted to let the forum know the status of this post..
