Default Important wire on 2008 Saturn Vue

Inherited a 2008 Saturn Vue 2.4L. Brother-in-law replaced battery for me in another state. I now have the vehicle. Some dash lights have been on. Low tire pressure, ABS, brake, traction control. The tires all have good pressure. I read somewhere that battery issues may cause these. Today, I found this wire laying in the battery tray. Any ideas what it is for? Goes into harness under fuse box.

A lot of codes. Have not reset any yet. Cranked engine a few hours ago fine. Now, nothing. Lights come on but no sound whatsoever when trying to turn key over.
Codes are:
P1877 - Transmission transfer case 2 wheel drive solenoid circuit short to battery
C0050 - right rear wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction
C0040 - brake pedal switch A; right wheel speed sensor malfunction
C0035 - right front wheel speed sensor supply
C0045 - brake pressure sensor B; left rear wheel speed sensor circuit malfunction
C0899 - device #1 voltage low
C0035 - right front wheel speed sensor supply

Sorry. Apparently the 2nd key won't crank the vehicle. It started up just now with the 1st key.

Is that wire black with a white tracer?

Yes, black wire with white stripe. Connector says FL-1.

Please take a picture of the other end of the shrink tube so we can see if is broken or a capped end. May or may not be related to the abs issues.

Wire appears intact all the way into another wire bundle entering the bottom of the fuse box.

A picture of the piece that has fl1 stamped on it, that is probably from the maker of the shrink tube. I want to see if there is bare wire showing or if it is a factory end one a wire that is not used in your car. Manufacturers build harnesses for all options and only use what was ordered for each car. That wire may be for and unused option. We want to know if it is broken off of something or a factory dummy wire that you can ignore.

Sorry. Misunderstood. Looks and feels like cork / wood. Can't see any metal to indicate wire.
